HUMANS
NEVER GO OUT OF STYLE(HR)
According
to the Total job-research, HR managers and directors spend the majority of their
time in three ways,
1. Meeting with senior staff and business partners
2. Employee relation and engagement
3. Meeting with employees
These
task are very unlike to be automated, managing and developing staff is the most
difficult thing in HR that activity relay hard to be automated. Management can
decide to go with full automation but they cannot reduce it to 0% .while AI
cannot make decision-making planning or creative work. Every department needs a human appearance to make above-said facts.
Meeting
with senior staff and employees and employee relations and engagements, all
require applying expertise to decision making. They also involve complex human interaction
which no algorithm can crack as of yet. The robot doesn’t have the ability to take emotional
respect and movements.
Automation
and technology only makes social and so-called soft skills robots don’t have
negotiation, collaboration, communication, mediation and empathy skills.
These
are the skills that HR professionals have in spades and its ultimately why
robotics won’t replace HR. robotics can do the time-consuming technical task but
when it comes to addressing employee engagement or improving company culture it
takes a human touch.

The more things change, the more they remain the same. In this hyperactive world of continuous data bombardment, tranquil pursuits like reading continue to remain relevant. Automation and artificial intelligence (AI) are rapidly changing the world we live in, and many are concerned the robots are coming for our jobs. but Despite this, some believe the concerns about automation are overblown.
ReplyDeleteyes robots will take over many jobs in future. HRM practicals should change according to this,But there is some jobs still need to run with human touch they will going to remains same.
DeleteAs you said AI cannot replace every position and AI can't replace Human Skills.
ReplyDeleteAI can take over is a hypothetical scenario in which AI becomes the dominant from of intelligence on earth but as I above said some companies for eg : Macdonelds is trying to run all their mac shops with machines and robots. Whenever the theology archives enough momentum to be hailed disruptive someone, somewhere will argue about how that technology will affect their industry, their future.
DeleteHumans have the capability to understand situations, and behave accordingly.machines do not have this capability.machines have limitations to their performance because they need humans to guide them.so i think this is the reason why robotics won’t replace HR or some position of human skills.
ReplyDeleteHuman intelligence is greater than artificial intelligence because AI is a creation of humans.
ReplyDeleteyes but in some reasons AI will take over Human resource.
DeleteTrue chamalka AI cannot replace every position
ReplyDeleteyes still some part of industry need human touch.
Deleteyes guys AI cannot replace some part of job categories but in very sooner there will be a job revolution .HR policies and strategies should change according to this revolutions. according to the google: World Economic Forum: automation will displace 75 million jobs but generate 133 million new ones worldwide by 2022
ReplyDeleteIts inevitable that AI will change the face of every sector as we know them in the future, but as you said chamalka, there are some things that cannot be replaced and if changed it would just loose them a great amount of money and would ruin the grace of that position.
ReplyDeleteThe human race is not on the scrapheap after all. Or at least not yet. There has been no shortage of predictions in recent years about how advances in artificial intelligence and robotics will see humans replaced in all kinds of jobs.
ReplyDeleteBut most AI experts see a less drastic outcome. In this version of the future, people will still have a role working alongside smart systems: either the technology will not be good enough to take over completely, or the decisions will have human consequences that are too important to hand over completely to a machine.Good topic chamalka !
This is a very interesting subject and the way things are moving forward I'm sure AI will improve to engaging areas as well. It's another topic for discussion with vast areas of research and arguments. Good article !
